PTO sponsored an exciting and informational assembly about the Rainforest in March. Clicking on the following web sites will help you and your child learn about the rainforest and will also help the rainforest through a donation. Most sites allow you to click once per day. National Wildlife Week ReadersNational Wildlife week was celebrated during March is Reading Month's Reading Olympics. Students were able to read an informational book about conservation or wildlife and receive a Green Medal. There were almost 200 students earning the Green Medal. Students posted their medals on the earth and were given certificates of achievement. | Earth Day Poster ContestStudents learned about Earth Day in art classes and were able to submit posters to DEQ for their Earth Day Poster Contest. Posters not submitted will be displayed during Earth Education Week.
Northwestern Green StudentStudents may complete 10 activities from April 1 to April 22nd to earn the designation of a Northwestern Green student. Activities can be found at the Northwestern School web page. Click on link below.
